Nice city, a lot of restaurants and shops, train station, buses, hospital, parks - anything one might need.
95% of beaches are private. You have to pay 35-70€ per 2 bed and umbrella per day. Sand beach, ideal for kids, as the sea is flat first 15m.
Parking is a challenge! So it is better to book a hotel with the parking.

Nice beaches, however be sure to investigate available spots on your favourite beach before arrival. We went to the public beach in the neighbour town which was really nice. The public beaches of Alassio are not as nice and very crowded. Nice atmosphere and many testaurants by the sea.

I would return again. Very friendly and beautiful.
I would return again. Very friendly and beautiful. The new ripple are kind n helpful. The beaches were all over the town and eateries on the water front as well as in the town. Transport around Alassio was free and convenient. I would check if the hotel was on a hill or in the flat ground when I return and I will.

Loved every minute and wished I had stayed longer.
Loved every minute and wished I had stayed longer. A lovely town with lots of charm, shops, parks, playgrounds etc. we got the train/bus to nearby towns and explored the area. There were several supermarkets nearby and a local market on Saturday. Restaurants were along the Lungomare and up as far as the pier. The neighbourhood was family oriented and safe. The Lido pizzeria and restaurant was very good value and lovely food.

Beautiful seaside town. Beautiful beaches and shops.
Beautiful seaside town. Beautiful beaches and shops. Wonderful beachfront hotels. High end but still wonderful for families. You can walk far out in the water and still stand. Water not too cold. More of an affluent beach town.
Very nice beach walk that runs a very long distance. Pretty town. Was once vacation destination of the affluent English who built villas here.
I love Alassio. This is where my parents (from Piemonte) vacationed when they were younger.

Very nice resort.
Very nice resort. Not too crowded though - just golden middle. Shops and bars working till late. There are lots of beaches, but if your facility cannot grant you a bench, better look for placed closer to Zero beach, since this is the only public beach. And question is not about money - there are simply no available benches. You simply cannot get one even if there are plenty of empty benches. One of the guys explained, that they are booked for whole months and nobody can use them even if they stay empty.
the apartment is exactly as described — top location, a minute away from the central Alassio strip and literally across the street from the large parking lot (cheapest in Alassio for overnight stays, too — 18€/day at the time of writing).
Facilities are all clean and freshly furnished. it was a pleasant stay, even though we spent most if our time outside.
The staff instructions were spot-on and they were extremely friendly in allowing a later check out and responding to our inquiries.
Hotel is in a good position on the beach strip.
All outdoor spaces are spacious and lovely. Very pretty and relaxing.
Big private beach.
Bar and lounge areas are also large and nice.
Has a small partially enclosed pool.
I enjoyed dining at the Marina restaurant. The one next to the beach.
Lovely atmosphere.
Food was good. Service was good.
Beautiful breakfast. Seating on the grand terrazzo.
Staff are very accommodating and friendly!
I enjoyed my stay!
This b&b was within easy walking distance to the train station, which is what we were looking for. It was one street back from the beach, and we saw a sliver of it by leaning out of the window. The street it's on is very active, which is great if you want to be in the thick of things. Our host, Giulia, was good at communicating by WhatsApp, and on the brief occasions we saw her when she delivered our continental breakfast, she was chirpy and helpful.
Simple and was good for our one night pit stop. No frills just a basic hotel. Beds were comfortable. Bath was modern.could do with a change of bed covers to give it a more updated look.
Breakfast was very basic as well nothing to rave about. Location just across from the beach. Suited our needs as we just on our way back home and needed to break our journey. Not our kind of a hotel for a long stay but if on a tight budget it serves its purpose.
The location was great, not too far from the train station (20 min walk), and a 2 minute walk from the beach. The room was spacious, the AC was great, the kitchenette was well stocked. The pull out sofa bed was actually more comfortable than the regular mattress, good pillows. Drying rack outside for wet clothes, hangers, blow dryer, kitchen utensils, plates, soap, and more all provided.
nice room, nice balcony, nice location .Impeccably clean .The shower room in the basement
to be used after checkout which allows you to spend a day at the beach on departure day and take a shower before driving away. They will even keep your suitcase in a secure place untill departure
The room and bathroom were spacious, modern and very clean, with all the facilities you would need. The location is great, being only 15 minutes walk from the centre of Alassio and its beaches and the free parking is a huge plus. The owners were very communicative.
The free sunloungers on the beach were great. The hotel has had a beautiful refurbishment, it looked pristine, designery and new. If only it also had more people there to enjoy it as the people end up creating the atmosphere, in the end!
- Great location and very convenient.
- Amazing view over the sea.
- Cleaning service on spot.
- Big variety of food for breakfast and a great staff serving it!
- Private beach for a fair price and lovely staff
We were guests off season but found the sandy beaches and warm water, the boardwalk, pier - a wonderful location right on the sea. The comfortable room had great light, buffet breakfast was delicious and fresh.
The location is amazing - right on the beach, near the restaurants and cafes, but also very quiet.
Very helpful personnel, great breakfast, roof top with a stunning view.
I definitely recommend this hotel!
Alassio is a beautiful place with a good atmosphere. This accommodation matched it. It is close to the beach, groceries, shops, restaurants and city life. I will definitely return to Alassio.
The staff is so friendly that one feels like a beloved family member. Breakfast has a lot of options, coffee is good. The location is very close to the beach. The beach towels are provided.
Nice little hotel in the city center. Near the beach and with plenty of restaurants nearby. My room was small but very clean and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay.
The view from the room was spectacular. The staff was nice. It's incredibly convenient...you can walk to everything and the beach is at your doorstep. Breakfast was very good!
Very friendly hosts, the hotel is in the safe neighborhood, close to restaurants, ice cold A/C
Loved the breakfast. Everything was great, will stay here again.
