I was lucky to stay there 4 nights (3 in the studio and 1 in the appartment), it is really a beautifull place! The house is a museum in itself, you can feel that history took place in those rooms, the 'library' is incredible and the kitchen is a dream. Eduarda will give you lots of tips and advice on the island, and if you wish she will tell you the story of the house. You trully feel at home and in a cocoon within the city. The breakfasts are awsome (thank you Maria as well :) I'll be back for sure!!

Daniel is a great and very helpful host who goes above and beyond to assist you with all questions you may have - very responsive during the whole stay and super friendly. The place is exactly as the pictures show it - a beautiful old house with a spirit, huge shared bathroom with very good water pressure, new air conditioner in the room that works very well. I found the location excellent - just opposite the house there's a laundry self service, and a great pizza place. In the place there's also a shared kitchen with everything you may need. WIfi worked very well for me as well. 10 out of 10 and will definitely choose that place if I return to PDL some day! Obrigada!

מקום האירוח Pousada da Vila שוכן במרחק של 2.5 ק''מ מחוף קאליאו דה ארייה ו-9.1 ק''מ מלגואה דו פוגו ומציע חדרים בוילה פראנקה דו קמפו. Everything was great! I highly recommend that place for a holiday. Quiet, comfortable, everything you need.

מקום האירוח Thalassa Villas ממוקם בפונטה דלגדה, במרחק של פחות מק"מ אחד מחוף סאו רוקה, ויש בו נוף להרים. Convenient location in São Roque, 20-30 min walk to Ponta Delgada downtown. Around 10 min walk to grocery store and some restaurants. Studio is quite small, but comfortable, very clean and well equipped. Kitchen is nice for preparing basic meals. The terrace is fantastic, overlooking the ocean and gets a lot of sun. Pool towels are great to take with you to hot springs.

מקום האירוח Garoupas Inn נמצא בפונטה דלגדה, במרחק של 500 מ' מחוף סאו רוקה, וכולל טרקלין משותף, חדרים ללא עישון, אינטרנט אלחוטי בחינם בכל רחבי מקום האירוח וטרסה. Everything was amazing. On our first day, we went in early to drop our bags. The hosts offered us breakfast and said we could wait until our checkout time in the lounge area. They were the kindest people. They even told us about the attractions we should visit and the best routes to get there. Were above and beyond our expectations.

במקום האירוח CC Guest House - "Ao Mercado" שבפונטה דלגדה יש אינטרנט אלחוטי בחינם, ותוכלו ליהנות בו גם מגינה, טרקלין משותף וטרסה. The location is central Punta Delgada. Conveniently it is across the street from the parking garage structure that has now been converted into the daily farmers market 6am-late afternoon. This is a very large marketplace with many vendors and the fresh produce is beautiful. The variety and quality of the fresh produce is amazing. And why is it all so large and succulent compared to what we know in the States? Back to location, our native taxi driver had trouble finding this street so remember it is across from the farmers market, Nextdoor to a bike shop and also across the street from a wonderful cheese and wine shop. The entrance door is painted purple. The historic central square is two blocks West and the harbor is three blocks south. The airport is a 10 minute cab ride. The immediate neighborhood is quiet and enjoyable. We sat outside in the abundant patio and adjoins garden several nights and it was quiet and relaxing. Wi-Fi is strong inside and out in the garden (Thank-you). Cell service is 4-5 bars strong inside the room and out in the garden. And while I’m discussing comms Maria, the owner, always responded via WhatsApp within 5 minutes of our inquiries. She was super helpful on every score including making local restaurant reservations for us (it’s a busy island in June-July so restaurant reservations are necessary even at local establishments). Public parking garages are your best bet for parking and they seem to charge about 20 euros per 24 hours. They seem secure. The closest lot is a few blocks walk from AO Mercado.

Situated in Ribeira Grande and within 300 metres of Ponte dos Oito Arcos, Matriz Guest House has a garden, non-smoking rooms, and free WiFi. I had a phenomenal stay at the Matriz Guest House! Outstanding hospitality from the owner, very clean property, and central to all the places I wanted to explore on the island!
