We stopped here for a day on our road trip through Macedonia. We were very happy we did. It takes about half a day to see all the main attractions, however, having lunch or coffee or just a stroll through sirok sokak is highly recommended to catch the city vibe. it’s very different to either ohrid or skopje. a very manageable and interesting town.

Bitola is a vivid city in Northern Macedonia with beautiful sights. The pedestrianized street in central Bitola (Sirok Sokak) has everything you could want from delightful little shops and restaurants to larger department stores. Nightlife is also great!
Ohrid is just 1 hour and Skopje 2 hours by car.
Don't forget to taste local dishes and drink local wines (which are ones of the best in Europe)

Make sure to visit the archaeological site Heraclea...
Make sure to visit the archaeological site Heraclea Lynkestis, the city Museum and old churches (especially Church of St. Demetrius and the Church of Holy Virgin Mary), as well as to eat and drink at restaurants and cafes at Shirok Sokak and Shetalishte. Getting around Bitola is easy. Locals are friendly, food and drinks are tasty.
The hotel is conveniently located just a 5-6 minute drive from the city center. This hotel is a great choice for those looking for a spacious and comfortable place to stay in Bitola. The rooms are large and well-appointed, the staff is helpful and attentive. The hotel's restaurant is excellent. The food is delicious and the service is impeccable. In fact, many locals come to the restaurant to eat, which is a testament to its quality. We ate there ourselves and were very pleased. Breakfast is a la carte
Pro: shared kitchen, bus nr.1 from train station of Bitola stop just 5 min walking to this place, cheap minimarket nearby, room is cool, nice terrase to sit down and meet people. Quiet location.
Con: - One bathroom for 4 rooms can be busy, rooms are in 1st floor, feel a bit stuffy in summer
- Location is a bit far from city center, but good for trekking to pelister NP. The owner can order a taxi, othwerwise just hail one on the main road, for us it was much cheaper.
Hotel Kiko decided to cancel our reservation for 23 people and 10 rooms the week before we were supposed to arrive. They simply sent us a message that they were having renovations done and couldn’t accommodate us. They did not provide us with an alternative and basically left us hanging. This was so stressful and completely unprofessional since we were all in town for a wedding and it is extremely difficult to find accommodations for that many people last minute.
The location is perfect: right in the historic center of Bitola. From the balcony, we could see the clock tower, the old mosques and the main street and square with is beautiful historic houses. We sat there listening to an evening concert on the square and watching people enjoy their evening. The room was spotless clean and nicely furnished. And the hosts where very welcoming and helpful. We fully recommend City House Central.
Very trendy apartment with everything you need. We even managed to get some clothes washing done.
Location is perfect - 10mins walk from the train/bus station. At the southern end of Shirok Sokak it's an easy walk to all the sights, restaurants and bars. It's an easy 30 min walk to Ancient Macedonian City Heraclea Lyncestis.
Katerina was very responsive via messaging, and her mother meets you for access (no English).
Our hosts were incredibly welcoming. Their hospitality was second to none! We spent a few hours chatting with them over food and raki. It was wonderful to have the chance to learn about North Macedonia.
We especially liked the veranda - a great place to relax and eat. The location was incredibly peaceful. The house was spotlessly clean and the kitchen was very well equipped.
The breakfast was nice, I was just missing butter. The rest of the food and deserts were also delicious. I like the location of the hotel and the hotel itself, also the interior, the mix between the old an new way of design, then the rooms , the hospitality and the service in general. I especially liked the Christmas decorations.
Good location, beautiful, very clean and spacious rooms, folk costumes from different regions of Macedonia displayed in the corridor, nice interior and exterior (terrace to sit and rest outside), very beautiful and stylish building. Helpful staff. It's the best accommodation in the whole country, I think.
Besides being on Shirok Sokok, which is the street to be on in Bitola, the host Nickolas, was superb. It is purely a family run business with excellent attention to detail. Really excellent value for money. We would highly recommend and will definitely stay at the Robevski if we visit Macedonia again
The hotel and rooms were beautifully decorated with ethnographic displays, especially of traditional clothing. Our room had a mini museum behind glass display cases. The kitchenette was well equipped. Nice bathroom. Great communication with hosts pre-arrival and helpful tips from staff at check-in
The staff! Very friendly and always there to help, they even made us breakfast after breakfast time. The location is perfect, in the heart of Bitola. There is a parking near and it only costs 0,50€ for the whole day! Would definitely recommend it! 10/10
The Appartment was very central in bitola and very nice for rest and enjoy. The hosts was very friendly . The room was at a famous place in bitola on „sirok sokak“ so u can enjoy your time and find lot of nice bars and coffees. 😊 Next time again .
Very central, everything ten minutes walk. Very polite reception ,they helped us with the ruined wheel of the car. Private parking in the yard.
We don't believe it worths staying in Bitola, but if you decide it this hotel is clean and convenient
Nice, clean, small hotel with charm. Friendly staff. It's about a 10 minute walk to the middle of the main pedestrian Street. Good air conditioning and even fairly cool in the middle of summer without it. Nice place. Quiet Street. Great value.
A beautiful, modern apartament, on the faimos Sirok Sokak. The staff very profesional and kind, They sent even videos, how we get to the apartment, how we can entry in the building, etc. Bitola worth to be visited.
Great place. Super clean. Comfortable bed. Price was right. Short walk to major attractions in Bitola. Well equipped shared kitchen. Spent 12 nights here in room #4.
Great hostess, very good location near off center. Very peaceful and quiet place for staying. Definitely we will stay again if we come back again to Bitola.
