We loved the quieter aspect of Pollonia but still has a beach, cafes, restaurants and mini mart in walking distance. You do need a car to drive to all the special spots - beaches, villages, seaside towns, catacombs, Sarinkinko etc. Main port Adamas is 15min drive as is most other locations on that side of Milos. We stayed 3 nights but could have stayed 4 as we had some big days getting tourist spots done and would have liked a lazy day just at a beach club. Definitely do a boat cruise to Kleftiko and Skyia Cave - half day tour (5 hrs) is fine no need for a 9 hr oneAbigailHong Kong - 10Scored 10

Pollonia is quiet enough that you can relax but still has plenty of dining and entertainment options. Great bus service into Adamas with connection across the island. Do the boat tour on a catamaran!

Please check the small writing for this accommodation. I booked a double room & once I got there was told that I booked the room for 1 person. I was told to pay an additional $30 per day including the day (ferry boat canceled) we weren’t there. We weren’t given any other choice we either paid the extra money or we were out to find other accommodation. Please check the small print as I have never come across anything like this before

Milos is great island and Pollonia is a great town. Very family friendly with several great restaurants to choose from. Pollonia has close access to a wonderful part of Milos that has a dramatic beautiful coastline.

I'd reco a car to be able to explore the beaches to get the best of Milos, transportation is easiest that way. Pollonia felt like the best place to stay after checking out everywhere else based on its location in relation to everything and its hotel/ dining offerings. once we had a car it was seamless, we visited all the beaches, most memorable were: SARAKNIKO, TSIGRADO and Firopotamos. We at at O Hamas and Medusa, I still am thinking about how perfect those meals were.OLIACanada

The location is perfect for peaceful relaxation and watching the sea from the deck. It is a quick walk into Pollonia for restaurants, sandy beaches and a grocery store. Everything on Milos is a short and easy drive. The apartment is very clean and has everything you need. The host greeted us with fresh fruit and we came back one day to a lovely bottle of wine. There were complementary pastries & coffee in the reception daily. The beach (towels freely available from the pool area) and numerous restaurants are only a 5 minute walk away, as is the small supermarket, the short ferry across to Kimolos island and the bus stop to Adamas. Quiet, just renovated, new beds, new everything. Rooms had plates, cups, bowls etc so it was great to sit outside and have breakfast. Also there was a Nescafé coffee machine. Huge bathroom and great wifi connection. Owner was very friendly and gave us lots of information what to do.

I recommend a rental car if staying here but the bus or taxi is another option. Change of towels and cleaned daily.
