Location. Just a short walk to the town centre, including the Plaza de Cervantes. Great atmosphere in the town during the weekend. Bathroom looked to be newly refurbished. Compact, but nice. Friendly staff. The bedroom was a small single, not luxury, but very good value. My second time at this hotel. Booked again for July.
Aircon worked very well.

All good - location is near the centre of Alcala de Henares, the bedroom a very good size as was the bathroom, and all very clean. Complimentary bottle of water was appreciated. I had minimal contact with the staff, just a quick efficient check-in and check-out. The central patio is nice.
Something to note would be an apparent lack of an elevator, perhaps check if there is a ground floor room if an issue.
Nothing negative to report, I would stay here again.

The staff were pleasant and helpful and the room and the breakfast were great and were what I had paid for- Only location issues were the reason for my stay not being perfect.
I was only there for one night and needed to be in Madrid to meet people at the airport the next day. I did not realize how far it was from both the train station and the airport, there was no transport besides cabs.

Alcala de Henares is a UNESCO city, which means its historically significant as not only a university city but a city of monuments. It's easy to get around on foot, and it preserves the arched walkway and numerous plazas to explore. We took an easy train from Madrid (approx. $8 for two people) Chamartin Station to downtown Alcala. Easy enough access to Barajas Airport. We dined at a wonderful Argentine restaurant in the center.

Madrid is a large city but Alcalá de Henares has it's own charms, not least that is it much less busy but no less special. The old streets are alive at night as people walk about, before maybe enjoying a drink or meal in one of the many lovely hostelries here.
The town hosts many festivals and we happened to arrive when one was in progress. The community was fully involved.
The town has a history that goes back to Roman times so don't miss looking up the Roman ruins and the ancient university which is over 500 years old.

There are some cafes and restaurants close to the hotel we stayed at, as well as some shops and pharmacies.
We were close to La Garena station with a direct link to the centre of Madrid - there is also a metro station in the area.

Very beautiful old town (buildings from renaissance), perfect for a short visit when you're in Madrid. You can also visit Cervantes's birthplace.
Amazing phenomenon of storks who live there in great numbers and occupy major monuments :)

The room was very clean, as was the hotel itself, and of a good size with plenty of wardrobe space. As the hotel is down a cul-de-sac it was quiet even during the busy parts of the day. Situated within a 5 minute walk of the historic centre of Alcala, slightly less to the bus-stop for the #824 bus for the airport and less than 10 minutes to the railway station, the overall location is very good.
Amazing location, especially if you do not need to park a car (it can be a little tricky to park close to the hotel). Wonderful staff that did so many favors for us. Perfect location in the center of town right across from the Cervantes Museum and so many eateries. Alcalá de Henares has so much more to do than we thought! Not just an airport layover, but worth two nights. Great stay overall.
When we arrive we weren’t sure where the parking was, the. Manager came straight out and showed us to the garage. The manager was amazing he carried our bags to the room, the room was perfect, he showed us where breakfsct was and how to mare coffee - he was a caring a very hospitable host. We will definitely come back and high,y recommend the hotel.
The accommodation was excellent and the staff were friendly, helpful and professional. The location was excellent.
We had to book in at an associate hotel nearby - not a problem - and we were accompanied by a member of staff to our desination - two minute walk. The breakfast was excellent - small portions - totally suitable. The room was perfect.
Not your average hotel room, the room has a unique very stylish design, being modern and minimal but doesn’t neglect this historic area by having real dark wood floors and rustic old bathroom tiles - beautiful spacious room with a large walk-in wardrobe
We were tired when we arrived. We parked easily in the hotel car park and connected our car to the EV charger - free charging was a major bonus. We bought very good food in the hotale that evening, slept well and had a decent breakfast next day.
El Bedel is located in a beautiful square, right in the heart of Alcala de Henares. The hotel is beautiful and the room was perfect for what we wanted. Staff lovely and check in/out was seamless.
Clean, bright and spacious room in a beautiful parador. The bed was big and extremely comfortable. Loved the heated floor in the huge shower and strong water pressure.
Hotel is located near the station and near old town in Alcala de henares. Room was comfortable and with air condition which is important during hot summers in Spain.
Location is more than fine, in the historical center of Alcala de Henares. The host will help you with your questions and he likes to help his customers
